Install QGIS di UBUNTU 10.04

Quantum QIS bisa dijadikan alternativ software gratis bagi pengguna software GIS seperti ArcView maupun ArcGIS yang berbayar. Ada versi windows da versi Linux juga

Walaupu tidak sebagus produk esri tetapi QGIS bisa membuktikan bahwasannya mereka juga bisa membuat software GIS yang gratis….

ok langsung saja… saya menggunakan ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx)

di terminal ketik perintah

“sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntugis/ubuntugis-unstable”

lalu “sudo apt-get update”

terakhir “sudo apt-get install qgis”

Dan setelah selesai proses install QGIS versi 1.6.0 “Capiapo” siap digunakan

Sudah lama gak isi blog……. jadi pengin hehehehe sekalian bikin arsip supaya besok besok kalau butuh tinggal lihat di blog.

Ok setelah sekitar 1 tahun menggunakan ubuntu karmic koala(9.10) di netbook Axioo Pico ku, akhirnya pengin juga upgrade ke ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx). Awalnya pengin upgrade dan sudah dilakukan tapi malah erorr. so terpaksa deh install ulang via usb dan akhirnya berhasil.Setelah setting repository ke ugm dan install beberapa software akhirnya install software untuk remote sensing dan GIS ada beberapa kesulitan antara lain:

1. Googleearth versi 6

Sedikit beda dari versi sebelumnya versi 6 dapat di download di sini

setelah diinstall (versi ubuntu :.deb 32bit) tinggal klik 2 x kali ikuti petunjuk

Setelah instalasi selesai ternyata gak bisa langsung digunakan……setelah mencari informasi ke sana sini ternyata memang utk versi 6 dan ubuntu 10.04 perlu ada tambahan komponen kalau terhubung internet tinggal jalankan perintah di terminal “sudo apt-get install lsb-core” Ok sekarang dah bisa nih jalankan googleearthnya.

Hape ini boleh dibilang udah uzur, karena aku beli hape nih pada sekitar bulan september 2005, itupun terpaksa karena hape ku yang sebelumnya Siemens A50 udah trouble, walaupun kalau untuk di telp masih bisa tapi kalau layarnya gak ada gambarnya piye? hehehehe
Atas saran mantan pacar (istriku diani) akhirnya aku mau beli hape baru walau sempat agak ngeyel pengin cari yang BM biar agak murah, tapi akhirnya jatuh pilihan ke hape Motorola C380 dengan harga 750 rb. Kalau dilihat sih fitur-fiturnya yang tergolong biasa karena gak ada memory card, games juga sedikit. Tapi dah bisa buat browsing walau masih terbatas dan bisa juga dihubungkan ke pc tapi harus beli kabel data sama cd nya..... lumayan mahal waktu itu itupun aku dibelikan istriku untuk kado ulatahku... hehehehe Makasih ya Cintaku..... ( I love U). Dan bisa juga buat macem-macem aplikasi via pc tentunya walau harus dengan macem2 otak atik.
Lama dah aku pake sampai sekarang, sempat kepikiran mau tak jual waktu mau pindah ke cdma bareng istriku tapi kok dulu ditawar rendah.. so gak jadi kujual. Dan waktu ketemu teman kerja dia punya hape bagus SonEr yang layar warna ada mem card + ada aplikasi buat internet berupa opera mini. So aku jadi penasaran sama hape ku ini .. aku cari-cari aplikasi untuk bisa install opera mini. File install dah ada tapi bingung mau tak install via pc ternyata gak bisa..wah bingung lagi... trus akhirnya cari tahu di internet dan akhirnya ketemu deh caranya..
Ternyata installnya langsung via hape dengan browser defaultnya. Trus aku akses ke getjar.com dan kucari file-file games dan akhirnya bisa..... seneng aku. Trus opera mini aku download dan install. dan akhirnya aku bisa browsing via hape hihihihi tambah seneng aku apalagi istriku kadang-kadang make di rumah... maklum gak ada jaringan internet di rumah.
Dan sampai sekarang sekarang beberapa aplikasi seperti nimbuzz dah terinstall dan bisa kupake buat chatting.
Satu hal lagi hape ini tahan banting (tapi jangan dibanting beneran) maksudnya tuh strong abis berkali-kali jatuh tetep aja masih berfungsi dengan baik, sampai suatu saat di kantor pas hujan deras depan gedung tergenang air,pas mau nyebrang ke gedung sebelah wah hape ku jatuh di genangan....sempat was-was aku jangan-jangan rusak ehhh alhamdulillah hapenya gak papa masih oke sampai sekarang.......

Hasil MU vs Chelsea Liga Inggris

Pertandingan besar itu berakhir dengan skor 3-0 untuk kemenangan Manchester United lewat gol Vidic,Rooney dan Berbatov. dengan kemenangan ini maka jaeak poin antara MU dengan chealsea tinggal berselisih 1 poin itupun dengan 2 laga masih dismpan oleh MU. Sedangankan dengan Liverpool jarak poin tinggal 5, sehingga apabila MU berhasil menang di 2 laga tersisa maka MU akan berada di Puncak Klasemen Liga Premier. Nah apakah mampu MU melakukannya? kita lihat saja ditengah padatnya jadwal pertandingan MU di 4 kompetisi berbeda. Liga Premier tgl 14 januari akan melawan Wigan, tgl 17 Januari melawan Bolton dan tgl 20 Januari melawan Derby pada semifinal Piala Carling belum lagi akan bertemu Inter Milan de Minggu berikutnya.

So semangat MU gapai juara semaksimal mungkin… BRAVOO MU….

Arc View 3.2 on Ubuntu Gutsy

Hello Ubuntu user, if you an GIS, Remote Sensing or mapper you do not have to worried about the the arcview software that does not work on Ubuntu. Because you can use the emulator (wine). so you can install this software via WINE. It is works well, like 3D analyze.
Several months ago this software still has problem, the legend was not appear what it should be. But know it is already work.

Where BPL 2008/2009 will broadcasted?

Until now Barclays Premiere League 2008/2009 has not announced where it will be shown on kable tv in Indonesia. ASTRO Indonesia for last year who broadcast this League does not give the custumer information about this program. The news said that ASTRO Indonesia will not broadcast this program because internal problem. Several people in internet said that AORA TV (the new Cable TV in Indonesia) will broadcast it but when i call the custumer service they do not give the information.

But surely this BPL 2008/2009 will not broadcast free in terestrial TV in Indonesia.

Geographic Resources Analysis Support System

Known as GRASS.This software is an opensource . Lots using in UNIX operating system, as linux. But today this software can be install in windows operating system. In my experience to install GRASS in LINUX or WINDOWS is not just simple. Because i am not a programer so it is realy difficult to install on linux although in binary.

GRASS is Geographic Information System (GIS) that used to analyze and geospatial data managemen, image processing, map productin, spatial modelling, dan visualization. Nowadays GRASS used inacademic and comersial in worldwide, likei government agents and environment consultan.

GRASS development in indonesia generaly on academic is not develope well,probaby caused this software is not to familyar.

Let's share our experience abaout GRASS. I'd love to share

Setting Modem Nokia 2115 on Ubuntu

Don't forget you need DKU 5 data cable

You have ti install wvdial, use this command

#sudo apt-get install wvdial

Then
#wvdialconf /etc/wvdial.conf

Wait until the process done..., and before it you must connect your phone to the computer

next...

#sudo nano /etc/wvdial.conf

change the content just like below:
